H O A X # 0 8 6 5 8 9 6 4 3 5 6 4 3

Today was yet another misfortunate wave-hunt, which is beginning to become typical of the South Coast lately.
I checked an over-exposed, well-known wedge on sunrise, it had plenty of swell but it just wasn't doing it, from there I headed for a bombie, which looked like it had potential but the swell just wasn't quite right.
As per usual I retreated back to my own little heavenly ledge for a couple of sneaky ones on dusk.

Supposed to be a left

I feel as though I am obliged to have a video on here.
Although I have barely even began to embark upon my expedition into the world of filming I thought I would give you a tiny, tiny, somewhat insignificant morsal of what is to come.

D E J A V U

Yesterday whilst attempting to recover from the night before I shot for a few hours and got some cool footage.
Although I fell asleep a couple of times I still managed to capture a couple of big air reverses and some tech forwards.

V

This morning I filmed for 5 hours and it was well worth the sunburn and hunger-pains.
All the wigs were blowing up and I got a copious amount of usable footage which is pretty sick.
Here's a few frames...

C H A S I N G G E E S E

This morning's scenario was an uneventuating, wild goose chase. Myself, Glen, Eli and Tau spent a couple of hours in the freezing conditions attempting to link up for some all-time shots, the winds were good, the swell was a good height, yet nowhere was really doing it. Here's a few shots from this morning.

T I G H T J E A N S A N D W I L D H A I R

At only 14 years of age, south coast grommet Liam Glass has been blowing up recently and I have been on the scene capturing the madness. Here's a few frames from a surf we had this morning.

M O R E P R O P A G A N D A

Lately I've been lagging on the posts so I thought I had better gather up a few frames for you to sink your teeth into. These frames are from a couple of average sessions but fun none-the-less. I assume you all know Glen Thurston (Pictured in the top frame) but that other rippo popping the Jono-esque reverse back into the bowl is 21 year old Sammy Cuthbert. Keep your head tilted sky-ward because chances are he will be flying out of a crester near you in the not too distant future (Unless he's already gone into orbit, that is.) Liam Glass is also one to keep your eyes on, When he isn't isn't bailing on Year 9 Maths he can be found throwing his 40kg frame up and out as shown in that monster punt, alas that is only one of his many past-times amongst air reverses off nothing and washing his hair.
